Cold weather, hot event

Rocket Air 2012, what an event! It ended on Saturday evening with a Big Bang. A spectacular contest final taking 15 of the worlds best riders from 7 countries, and letting them entertain a completely crowded (maybe just slight overpacked) Ice skating rink in Thun. The spectators braved unseasonably cold weather to witness flip and trick combos that were not even thought possible last year.

Rivella Rocket Air 2012

Rocket Air is getting ready to rock the Ice rink of Thun for the third year in a row! After two very successful years, Rocket Air Slopestyle is moving into its third year. On the13-14th of April be prepared to witness some of the best mountain bikers from around the world come and compete for a total of 10`500- Swiss Francs in prize money. Some say that Rocket Air is “the event with the best Atmosphere” and this year is not going to be any different!! The recipe for the this “special” atmosphere involves two important ingredients, the first is the up close feeling and the second is that the course is complete surrounded by spectators, literally!! Having doubled the amount of spectators last year we are looking to reach the 7000 mark with Rocket Air 2012.
